Wool & Linen Herringbone Over-the-Calf Socks
In stock
A classic herringbone design with a rich texture reminiscent of a tweed jacket. Super Extra Fine Wool forms the base, while linen is used for the pattern, creating a refined balance between the soft fullness of wool and the natural crispness of linen.
The interplay of these contrasting materials gives the socks a rich, distinctive texture, while their slightly substantial feel adds warmth and character to autumn and winter looks.
The Super Extra Fine Wool used for the base has an exceptionally fine fiber diameter of just 17.5 microns, comparable in fineness to cashmere. Its fine fibers minimize the prickly feel often associated with wool, resulting in a remarkably smooth and soft touch.
The linen used for the pattern is made from high-quality flax grown in France. Its natural crispness and dry, smooth feel create a subtle contrast with the softness of the wool, adding depth and a distinctive texture to the classic herringbone pattern.
